Stockton Metro-Ministry Meeting

Call Suzanne Grill at 465-4611 for information on the next Stockton Metro-Ministry meeting at one of the member religious organizations on the fourth Thursday of most months. The May meeting will be the annual SMM Meeting with guest speakers and a dinner.

Stockton Metro Ministry, speaks for the religious community of Stockton and plays a vital role in shaping the future of this community. You are invited to be an advocate for children, youth, families, refugees and the poor, by sending your check made payable to Stockton Metro Ministry, to 509 W. Weber, Suite 101, Stockton, CA. 95203-3167.

Your help is greatly needed, appreciated. Donations to SMM are tax deductible! You can also donate to SMM through United Way, and have it deducted from your paychecks, rather than sending a check or donating cash.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE AT THE CITY AND SMM LEVELS

Substance abuse concerns are being worked on, and the religious community has the opportunity to be represented on important boards and contribute to vital planning and decision making processes. If you are interested in important and community impacting volunteer work, contact Cynie Downs 478-0889, from Lincoln Presbyterian, Chair of SMM's Substance Abuse Committee and President of Stockton Metro-Ministry for more information.
